1st group of teenagers received the U.S. President's Volunteer Service Award through DETV Youth Team

In order to cultivate a sense of social responsibility and mission for more youth, Dragon Eagle TV provides a platform for youth to fully showcase and cultivate their skills - the Dragon Eagle TV Youth Corps. 2022 has been a great year for Dragon Eagle TV, all this could not be achieved without the hard work from Dragon Eagle TV Youth Committee volunteers. Representative Padma Kuppa presented awards to the first group of teenagers who received the U.S. President's Volunteer Service Award before the last home game of the Detroit Tigers. We hope that more youth will join us in the future and more will receive the highest honor volunteer award in the United States.

Youth Community Service Event

爱！就行动吧！LOVE! LET’S ACT

活动名称：爱！就行动吧

活动性质：北美华人青少年公益活动

主办方：龙鹰卫视青少年部

活动时间：06/05/2022 - 06/05/2023


活动内容：从身边的每一件小事做起—-例如在社区、邻里、学校等任何地方帮助他人，无论大小事情只要是无报酬服务都可以。

活动的形式：通过拍短视频（3分钟之内）或文字的方式。（有意参加者可单独指导）


活动目的和意义：

培养学生的爱心；让学生懂得回馈社会；健康成长

通过这项活动可以增加他们对社会的责任感的同时培养年轻一代懂得感恩与人为善的优良品德

给每个参与者提供一个可以发挥领导能力机会，让孩子们打开脑洞挖掘他们的内在潜力

对好的策划方案青年部会给予大力支持和帮助


参加活动的学生将获得

1 义工证明，对年度符合标准的学生协助申请总统义工奖

2 参加活动的优秀作品将在龙鹰卫视各平台发布

3 参加活动的学生将优先提供各种义工机会

ACTIVITY:

Start with small things around you - such as helping others in the community, neighborhood, school, etc.

No matter the nature of the activity, as long as it is volunteer service.

HOW:

Make a short video (within 3 minutes) or submit a manuscript. (Participants will be provided help individually)

PURPOSE OF ACTIVITY:

Foster kindness, teach students to give back to the community and build character,

Through this activity, students can increase their sense of responsibility to the community and build up the younger generation's positive character, appreciation, and kindness.

This activity will provide each participant with an opportunity to develop their leadership skills, helping students to open their minds and explore their potential.

The Dragon Eagle TV Youth Committee will fully support outstanding proposals.

AWARDS:

1 - Students who meet community service requirements will be awarded the President's Volunteer Service Award

2 - Selected submissions will be published on all platforms of Dragon Eagle TV

3 - Students who participate will be given priority to various other volunteer opportunities
